How can I cook my 15lb turkey in my crockpot? ?!
I can't seem to find any recipes that include the whole turkey!. All the recipes I've found are just for the breast and I have the entire bird to cook!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Clean it just like you would if you were to cook it in the oven!. Remove bags, etc!. Put some water in your crockpot, I recommend about 2 inches to start with, steams the turkey, making it all nice and juicy!. Then, line your crock pot with aluminum foil, the aluminum foil should be above the water!. Cut a few small holes in the aluminum foil!.
Now, back to the turkey!. Butter that baby down, fill it with stuffing (or whatever you choose)!.!.!.I like stuffing and an onion, myself!. If the crock pot is big enough where you can sit the bird in it in the position you would in the oven, then you could throw some carrots and potatoes in when it is about 3/4 done!. Then stick that bird in the crockpot (on low or even medium, if you have that setting) and cook it! Should take approximately the same amount of time it would in the oven!. Birds are testy!. Check after a few hours (make sure there is still a little water in the bottom of the crockpot, too) and then every hour or so after that!.
Tell me what time dinner is and I will be right over!Www@FoodAQ@Com

So get real and bake it in the oven!! YOu can cook it at 250F for overnight and it will be great!.
Wash it inside and out, pat dry, rub salt into the inside and some on the outside!. Near time to serve, rub some butter over the skin for nice crispy beautifully brown skin!.
Be sure to use a baking pan about 2 inches deep or better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you don't have pans that are big enough, how will you ever fit it into a crockpot!? I think the skin would be soggy & fatty in a crockpot anyways !.!.!.!.!.!.!. You can buy disposable turkey roasting pans for a couple of dollars at any grocery storeWww@FoodAQ@Com
No 15 lb is going to fit in a crockpot!. If you dont have any pan then go to the dollar store and buy one of those cheap foil ones and place it on a cookie sheet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
