you don't need a steamer, just a pot with a lid, and a metal strainer!. Place the strainer in the pot, fill the pot with one inch of water, put the asparagus in the strainer, put the lid over the veggies and steam!. You can also do something simmilar in the microwave by placing a small amount of water in a bowl with the asparagus, cover loosely, and nuke it for like 4 minutes!.

You don't need a steamer!. Just put a little water and a little salt in the bottom of a large frying pan that has a cover!. Bring to boil and put in the asparagus and cover for just a minute or 2!. Add a little butter and serve hot or dry on paper towel, refrigerate and serve with vinaigrette!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Place asparagus on a baking sheet!. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper!. Roast in a 400 degree oven for 10 - 15 minutes depending on thickness!. After removing from oven top with a little lemon zest or grated parmesan cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I boil them until they are almost done, then I drain them!. Melt some butter, saute minced fresh garlic and a squirt of lemon juice!. Add drained asparagus and cook for a few minutes til they are done!. If you like, sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top!. YUMMY!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

when i cooked them i would drain the liquid out and boil them with butter salt and pepperWww@FoodAQ@Com
