Good things to do with bananas?!


Question: Good things to do with bananas!?
My Dad left me about 15 bananas and they're starting to go very yellow !.!.!. trouble is I don't like them!

I did a batch of muffins and used four of them! Any other ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

YOu have so many options- from Banana smoothie (with ice cream, vanilla, chocolate syrup and Peanut butter), banana bread, banana crepe, banana pancake, fried banana etc

here are two REALLY GREAT recipes

BANANA SPLIT CHEESECAKE

2 cups HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 (8 ounce) packages PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas
1 cup halved strawberries
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 banana, sliced, tossed with lemon juice
1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!. Mix graham crumbs, butter and 1/4 cup of sugar!. Press onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan!.
Mix cream cheese, remaining 3/4 cup sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended!. Add eggs; mix just until blended!. Stir in mashed banana!. Pour over crust!.
Bake 30 minutes or until center is almost set!. Cool!. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight!. Cut into squares!. Top with strawberries, sliced banana and pineapple

Chimpanzee Cheesecake

CRUST
1-1/2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
1/4 cup Sugar -- Granulated
1/2 c butter, melted

CHEESECAKE
1 pound Cream Cheese
1/4 cup Sugar -- Granulated
2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
4 each Eggs -- Large
1 cup Sour Cream
1 cup Bananas; Mashed (app!. 3 bananas)

CRUST:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F!. Place the crumbs in a mixing bowl and add the butter and sugar!. Blend well!. Press the crumb mixture onto the bottom and partly up the sides of a greased 9-inch springform pan!. Smooth the crumb mixture along the bottom to an even thickness!. Bake for about 10 minutes in the oven at 350 degrees F!. Cool before filling!.

CHEESECAKE:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F!. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice together!. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition!. Stir in the sour cream and the mashed bananas and blend well until very smooth!. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust and bake for 1 hour!. Cool in the oven, with the door propped open, until the cake is at room temperature!. Chill until serving time!.

Let them go beyond yellow, until they are extremely ripe!.!.!.then make banana bread with crushed walnuts! You can make several small loaves, then freeze them for a couple of months if you don't want to eat them all at once!. Banana bread freezes beautifully when stored in an airtight, zip-lock bag!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Banana pudding!

Get some vanilla pudding (a large box!.!.!. not instant, it has to be the kind you cook)

Mix it up according to the directions!. Line a shallow bowl/dish with vanilla wafers!. Layer the warm pudding and about 3 sliced bananas in the bowl!. Allow to cool, then top with cool whip, and chill in the refrigerator before serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Or just randomly squish them!. I find that very entertaining LOL!
Or go to the zoo and give some lucky monkeys a very apPEALING dinner LOL! Wow, that was a very cheesey line!

fried bananas - make a batter mix (sweet), peel bananas, coat with batter (like fish) deep fry only until batter is nice golden colour - then serve hot and with ice cream, an excellent dessert!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
