Not that I have ever heard of!. I worked in R+D for Whirlpool Appliances for several years, and we were not able to accomplish that!. Due to the excitement of water molecules which is the way a microwave cooks(put into simplest terms) the yolk having a lower water content actually caused the yolk to cook faster, creating an egg which hard a hard rubbery yolk, and slimy whites!. They may have overcome that problem since I retired but I doubt it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fried Eggs - Break and slip one (1) egg into each of two lightly-greased 10-ounce custard cups or a pie plate!. Gently prick yolks with tip of knife or wooden pick!. Cover with plastic wrap!. Cook on 50% power just until eggs are almost desired doneness, about 2 to 3 minutes!. Let stand, covered until whites are completely set and yolks begin to thicken but are not hard!.

put a little butter in a micro safe dish, heat till the butter melts, remove dish a put in the egg, place back in microwave and cook on high till the yolk sets, about 45 seconds!. not the exact same as a pan but a good sunnyside egg nonetheless!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope!. The microwave is a "nuker"!. It heats from the center of food outward!. In order to fry an egg (sunnyside up) you would need to heat the egg from the bottom up (as like in a frying pan)!. So NO; you can't fry and egg in the microwave!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
