Question: Are raisins dried on the vine safe to eat without washing!?
Our newly adopted min-pin has kept the squirrels away and for the first time ever some of the seedless Thompson grapes are drying in bunches on the vine!. The grapes have not been washed!. Are these safe to use like store bought!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wash them!. Even if they aren't contaminated with insecticides or other chemical agents field dust won't be good for teeth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should wash them due to cross contamination of outside poisons and/or animal feces!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
