Thanksgiving Dressing Recipe?!
I am looking for a recipe for Thanksgiving dinner!. My grandmother used to always make the dressing (stuffing) but will be unable to do so this year!. I am looking for a recipe that is similar to hers!. I remember some of the ingredients, but do not have a recipe!. The dressing was baked in a separate dish and was cut into squares about an inch or so thick!. It had boiled eggs, celery, Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing mix, maybe a bit of onion, and I am not sure what else!. It did NOT contain nuts, any type of fruit, or cornbread!. I believe that I remember her sauteing the celery and onion before putting it in the mix!. Any recipes would be greatly appreciated!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

it seems you are speaking of a regular stuffing so-
1 pkg pepperidge farm stuffing cubes
1 onion, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
fresh or dried herbs of your preference
1 or 2 cups broth (make your own or buy the swansons)
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
pour your packaged stuffing cubes into a big bowl!. add broth to moisten!. allow to sit while you saute the onion and celery in the butter until it softens!. add this to your stuffing mix!.
at this point add more broth until its the consistency you want!. i might add some dried or fresh parsley, a little sage or poultry seasoning!. definitely some fresh ground black pepper!. beat 1 egg for each package of stuffing and add it last with your chopped up boiled eggs!. mix well!. pour into a greased baking dish and bake at 375 for about 40 - 50 minutes!. if its too dry when its done just spoon a little of the chicken broth over the top amd let it sit few minutes!. good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
