Tesco: normal Stagg chili = £1.50. Silverado Beef Stagg chili = £2.50. How can they justify this madness?!

Thats why Heinz reduced salt and sugar baked beans, are MORE expensive than the normal ones - cos people will pay extra for them not putting as much in the tin!

Could be that there is more/better meat in the Silverado Stagg; cheaper versions often have cheaper ingredients, as in different cuts of steak!. The animal used may have had a better deal in life and not be intensively reared, etc!.!.
