Please help me! easy 10 points!?!

Question: Please help me! easy 10 points!!?
i read this somewhere and was just wondering if it is true!. if you chew food, but don't swallow it, are you taking in any calories!? for example, if you chew a piece of cake and it turns out you don't like it so you spit it out into a napkin, do you take in any of the calories that piece of cake provides!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
no because the food didnt have chance to even get to your stomach, and then flow into your bloodstream!. but for example if you spit out food but little crumbs never made it out, then yes some calories will be taken in!.

hope i helped!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have never heard that before!. But if there is calories that you are taking in, it cannot be that much with just chewing because you are not allowing the food to travel through your digestive system!. Seriously I doubt your in-taking calories but I'm not a physician so I Cannot be too sure n this one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

pretty much no matter what you chew, you are going to swallow small amounts of it, so in a sense yes, but if you chewed it all up, didn't swallow, and rinsed your mouth out w/ water then brushed your teeth, then used some mouth wash, then no you wouldn't get any calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you dont swallow any of it, this means that you cant swallow any of the sugar or juices that mix with your saliva!. Then no, your not taking in any calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, but only a few!. My uncle is doctor, so I asked him!. You take in some of them, but WAY less then if you actually eat the piece!. Or anything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds like you're anorexic or you have another eating disorder!. Please get help!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i don't think so because it's not really going into your body!.
