I'm a very picky eater?!

Question: I'm a very picky eater!?
I hate 90% of "normal food", and have refused to eat sea food all my life!. I guess it was just a "phase" when I was younger, but apparently it has stayed with me (I'm 20 now lol) Is there anything that is good for picky eaters!? I have heard fish is actually really good for you, but I don't know if I'll like it, nor do I know how to cook it!. Any tips on healthy food (including fish) for people who barely like anything!? Thanks in advance!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
white fish is very good and mild in flavor!. if you are going to explore different types of proteins I think that's a good place to start!. Typically you see white fish in most fish n chips or fish sticks!. I think it's better to start off with a fresh piece of fish, just because the frozen then fried variety just doesn't do the fish justice!. Shellfish, specifically lobster and crab, have a sweeter meat, and are less fishy tasting!. Shrimp seem to taste like the waters they came from, which isn't bad, but it is different & if you've never had seafood!.!.!.!.

I can't really suggest anything else outside the seafood cuisine, because i don't know what type of picky you are!. Texture!? Temperature!? Consistency!? My husband is a picky eater, and he prefers food that can be made in the microwave most of the time, with lots of Tapatio sauce on it!. All i can say is don't close your mind to trying new things!. You would be surprised how much you really like, considering what you think you don't like now!. Keep in mind that as you get older, your taste in food will change, much like your taste in clothing, movies, the opposite (or same!.!.!.i don't judge) sex, and so on!. The next time you go out for dinner, get something you would never get, and see where that takes you!.!.!.!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

2!. GRILLED FISH
For the steaks: they should be 8-10 ounces and 1-inch thick each!. Use Swordfish, Halibut or Salmon steaks!.

Marinate the fish in the marinade for 45-60 minutes!. Turn steaks 2-3 times!.

Have the grill prepared with white coals and brush the cooking grill with the remaining one tablespoon oil!.

Grill the fish, brushing several times with the marinade, until cooked through and opaque in the center!. Turn fish after about 4-5 minutes!. Total grilling time will depend on your grill and the heat of the coals!.

To broil instead, use a broiler pan brushed with oil and broil until center is opaque!. Will take about 10 minutes total in broiler!. Turn steaks after 5 minutes, and baste often with marinade!.

Serving Ideas: Grill outdoors and serve with crispy green salad and bread!.
