Question: Thawing defrosted chicken in cold water!.!?
Ive been defrosting 4 chicken breasts for 6 hours now,but 2 of the thickest chicken breasts were still slightley frozen,is it okay to finish them off under the cold tap!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I prefer the cold water method to a microwave defrost!. Mainly because the chicken is almost thawed and it seems to me every time I have ever tried to finish in the microwave, the chciken starts cooking!. Use the cold tap water!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't worry, i do this often when im in a hurry!. If the chicken is slightly frozen just finish them off under the cold tap or refresh the water often!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
