What would go best with this dinner?!
I know I should do this myself but I am tired of the same old same old!. I want only your tried and true recipe!. I have just about every veggie that you can work with except cabbage and cauliflower so!.!.!.I need a different veggie recipe for this dinner:

Sounds like a wonderful dinner, so I would suggest an oven roasted vegetable medley!. Cut up your favorite veggies (one inch pieces), toss them with some Olive Oil, butter, garlic, salt and pepper, Italian seasonings, them throw them on a sheet pan at 400 degrees for 1/2 hr!. Fried Peas
drain a can of peas
mince half cup onion and brown in 2 tablespoons butter!. Add the peas and stir rapidly til warmed!.
Green Beans with tomatoes
1 can green beans
1 can diced tomatoes
drain the beans and stir into the tomatoes!. Add any bacon bits or left over crumbled bacon and 1 Tablespoon sugar!. Heat gently!.

1/4 cup butter or margarine
5 tablespoons flour
2 cups low-fat milk
few drops hot sauce
Preparation:
Place onions in saucepan!. Add 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and enough water to cover!. Bring onions to a boil; cover and cook 20 to 25 minutes!. Drain and set aside!. For the sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour and remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt!. Gradually add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil!. Stir in hot sauce!. Drain onions and add to the sauce; heat through and serve!.

GREEN BEANS ALMONDINE
1 lb!. fresh green beans
About 1/2 c!. cooking oil
1/2 tsp!. salt
1 toe garlic, whole
1 c!. sliced almonds
Wash and slice green beans 1 1/2 inches long!. Toast almonds in oven until light brown!. Bring 3 quarts of salted water to a boil!. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes, then place beans in ice water to shock them, and keep their color bright green!. Refrigerate!.
When ready to serve, cover the bottom of a skillet with cooking oil!. Add garlic, then green beans and stir fry until heated through!. Fold in almonds and serve!.
