Can you help me figure out what to make with these ingredients?!

Question: Can you help me figure out what to make with these ingredients!?
I have chicken breast, carrots, potatoes, and onion soup mix!. I'd like to use my crock pot because I will be out of the house all day, but I'm not sure how to make these ingredients into a meal!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Toss those chicken breasts w/ the dry onion soup mix!. Lay on the bottom of a greased crock pot!. Top w/ large chunked carots and potato (I'd skip the fresh onion since you have onion soup)!. Add no more than 1/4 cup water (doens't seem like much, but will be plenty)!. Put on lid, cook on low for 8 hours, high for 4!. You should not need other seasoning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Onion soup mix usually has beef bouillon or beef flavoring in it!. Check your ingredients!. I don't think beef flavored things work well with chicken!. Keep that in mind!.

What would work better is if you got a big bottle of BBQ sauce!.
(If your chicken is boneless, skinless) Put it all in the crock with 1 can chicken stock or 1 cup water and 1 bottle of BBQ sauce!. Cook on low all day long (about 6-8 hours) and shredd for sandwiches later!.

You can make a soup with the onion soup mix by peeling, dicing the potatoes and carrots and boiling them in the soup for an hour!. Have that with the BBQ chicken sandwiches!.

But again, I don't think beef based things go well with chicken!.

Dump them all in the crock pot and let cook all day! By the time they are done you should have some of the most tender chicken ever!. also try to spice it up with some seasonings such as rosemary, basil, thyme, salt (sea salt if you have it), pepper (fresh ground if possible), and anything else you think might work!. Have some fun with it and create something new!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Peel and chop the carrots and potatoes into big chunks (a little larger than bite sized) chop up the chicken and add to the mix!. Sprinkle in the soup mix with about the reccomnened amount of liquid!. Set the timer and heap out for the day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would rub the onion soup mix all over my chicken and then lay the chicken on the bottom and add the carrots and potatoes on top!. MMMMM this sounds so good!. The sweat from the crock pot will make juice and you will like have a gravy type for the veggies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sound like you have all you need for the crock pot!. Place he chicken on the bottom, add your veggies, cover with the soup mix, add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup water, set on low and go!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe they can help you here!. Type in your stuff and they will give you a dish and even the recipe!
