Christmas Morning Casserole

INGREDIENTS

* 18 slices white bread, cubed
* 8 ounces cooked ham, cubed
* 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
* 1 1/2 cups diced Swiss cheese
* 6 eggs
* 3 1/2 cups milk
* 1/2 teaspoon onion powder(or 1/2 c fresh onions)
* 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
* 2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal
* 1/2 cup butter, melted

DIRECTIONS

1!. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish!. Line the bottom of the dish with half the bread cubes!. Sprinkle with ham, Cheddar cheese, and Swiss cheese, and top with remaining bread!. In a bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, and onion powder!. Pour evenly over bread!. Cover, and refrigerate overnight!.
2!. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)!. In a small bowl, blend the crushed cornflakes and melted butter!. Spread evenly over the casserole!.
3!. Bake 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bubbly and golden brown!. Let stand 5 minutes before serving!.

Eggs :- Scrambled & Toast!.

4 Eggs
1 T!. butter
1/4 C!. milk
Salt
Pepper
4 Slices hot, buttered toast
In medium saucepan, before heating: beat eggs, then add milk, butter, salt and pepper!. Place saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly until butter melts and eggs are cooked!.
Put on top of hot, buttered toast!.
Serves 2!.

I've made this for many years!. One daughter loves it with lemon juice & powdered sugar; and the other one likes sliced strawberries on top!. You can also put a can of heated pie apples on top!.!.!.!.!.!.

PUFF PANCAKE

1/4 c!. butter
3 eggs
1 c!. milk
1/4 c!. sugar
1 c!. flour
1/4 tsp!. salt
Melt butter in 9x13" baking pan (or cast-iron Dutch oven)!. Mix eggs and milk together well; add other ingredients & mix lightly!. Pour into buttered pan!. Bake at 375 for 20 min !.!.!.!.!.!.!.It will puff up as it bakes, but then fall down in the center as it cools!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
