Question: Healthy shrimp recipe for dinner!?
So I have 2lbs of frozen precooked shrimp!.!.!.!. Any suggestions on something yummy and healthy for dinner (in about 4 hours, we eat at 4:30 to 5)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

FRIED SHRIMP

fresh shrimp (no heads)
fresh eggs
cracker meal
cooking oil
salt

Peel, de-head, de-vein and wash the shrimp in cold water!. Lightly salt them!. Put well stirred eggs into a bowl!. Dip the shrimp in the eggs!. Drain the excess egg off for a few seconds and place them in ground cracker meal!. Make sure they are well covered with the meal!.
For best results refrigerate the battered shrimp for about an hour!. Deep fry at 350 degrees until they rise to the top (1-1/2 - 3 minutes) or until golden brown!.


SIMPLY SHRIMP FRIED RICE

1-1/2 cups rice, cooked
20-25 small shrimp
1 onion
1 red pepper
1 egg
3/4 cup peas
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
butter or oil

Cook rice as directed, approximately 1-1/2 cups!.
In a medium-sized frying pan, sauté 1 small chopped onion, 1 red chopped pepper, and 3/4 cup frozen peas in butter or oil!. Set aside!.

Next, sauté 20-25 small shrimp with 1 large clove of garlic in butter or oil!. When lightly brown, add vegetable mixture!.

After just a couple of minutes, add frying pan mixture to rice pot!. Quickly scramble 1 egg and add to pot as well!. Add 1/4 cup of soy sauce, using judgement and preference, of course!.

Stir, simmer for a few minutes and enjoy!.


SHRIMP FETTUCCINI

1 bunch green onions
1 stick butter (1/4 lb)
1 lb!. shrimp
3 heaping tablespoons flour
1 pint half and half
3 tablespoons hot sauce
*salt, garlic powder, and Tony's Cajun Seasoning

Chop onions, sauté in butter!. Add shrimp!.
Season with salt, Tony's Cajun Seasoning, and garlic powder, to taste!.

Add flower

Stir in half and half (half milk and half cream)!.

Bring to a SLOW boil or simmer, and continue to cook for 10 minutes over low heat, while stirring occasionally!.

Stir in hot sauce; start out with 2 tablespoons, then taste and add more if you like!.

Add pasta, serve and enjoy!

Easy Garlic Shrimp with Rice
Quick and Delicious!

3 cups jasmine or white rice 3 -4 cloves garlic minced
4 1/2 cups water 1 stick Butter
1 teaspoon Salt 1/2 cup Sunflower nuts, roasted & salted optional
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes more or less to taste 1 pound shrimp (frozen); precooked, shelled
1 tablespoon ginger

Instructions for Easy Garlic Shrimp with Rice
For this recipe, I use my Rice Cooker and throw everything into the rice cooker except the shrimp!.

When the Rice is finished cooking (approximately 20 minutes) -- I add the frozen, precooked shrimp, mix well with the rice, cover with lid and let sit for approximately 10-15 minutes, so that the shrimp are heated through!.

Serve with Salad and your favorite bread!.

I have cooked this but have not used shrimp used crab instead but I would think it would come out ok!.

Seafood Tater Bake

1 pkg frozen broccoli, carrots and cauliflower
1 lb shrimp tails off
1 can condensed cream of celery soup or cream of mushroom soup
8 oz of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 milk
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
3 cups frozen tater tots


Preheat oven to 425
steam veggies in microwave according to directions!. Drain veggies and pat dry
Place veggies in bottom of 9x9 greased pan!.
Place shrimp on top!.
Combine soup, 1 cup of the cheese, milk and pepper; mix well and spoon over shrimp!.
Top with tater tots!. Bake 20 minutes and sprinkle with remaining cheese!. Bake 5 more minutes or until cheese has melted and sauce is bubbly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shrimp Scampi

INGREDIENTS
8 ounces angel hair pasta
1 3/4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt-free lemon-pepper seasoning
1/4 cup chopped green onions, divided
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley, divided
1 pound uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

DIRECTIONS
Cook pasta according to package directions!. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine the broth, garlic, lemon-pepper and 3 tablespoons each green onions and parsley!. Bring to a boil!.
Add shrimp; cook for 3-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink!. Drain pasta and place in a serving bowl!. Top with shrimp mixture and remaining onions and parsley!.

Caramelized Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients
GARLIC:
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
20 garlic cloves, peeled
Cooking spray

SHRIMP:
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 teaspoon butter
3/4 cup half-and-half
1/2 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
? cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups frozen loose-leaf spinach, thawed, drained, and squeezed dry
4 cups hot cooked linguine (about 8 ounces uncooked pasta)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°!.
To prepare garlic, combine 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and garlic in a bowl!. Place garlic mixture on a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray!. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until browned, stirring occasionally!.
To prepare shrimp, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat!. Add shrimp; sauté 3 minutes or until done!. Remove shrimp from pan!.
Melt butter in pan over medium heat!. Stir in half-and-half, broth, cheese, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and black pepper!. Cook 1 minute or until cheese melts, stirring constantly!. Stir in shrimp and spinach; cook 1 minute!. Combine shrimp mixture, garlic mixture, and pasta in a large bowl; toss well!. Serve immediately!.

Saute the for just a few seconds in garlic and butter and a little lemon juice!.Remember they are already cooked and will turn into little rubber blobs if you over cook them!. Toss with linguine pasta and a little olive oil!. That's pretty healthy!. Oh, and top it with fresh parmesan cheese!. Make a salad and some garlic bread and there you have it! Or you can skewer them with olive oil or butter, lemon juice and s&p and broil for just a few seconds, serve with a nice rice pilaf!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Since the shrimp are pre-cooked!.!.!.do a vegetable stirfry, add soy sauce mixed with some chicken broth and corn starch, ginger, garlic powder, pinch of sugar, add shrimp, mix well and serve over rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
