Hello,
No way for the oils!! They both have a completly different flavor!. You can buy a 4 oz bottle of Sesame oil in the supermarket!.
You will use the oil in many other dishes!.
Thank you

White vinegar can generally be used as a substitute for other vinegars!. You lose the little depth of flavor other vinegars can provide but the acidity is usual the most important thing!. Acid is important in balancing flavors which is why vinegar and citrus juices make their way into many recipes!.
Sesame oil and olive oil, however, are much different flavor!. Sesame oil is not only used as a flavor enhancer but also for high temperature cooking because of its high smoke point so its perfect for stir fry and dishes of that nature!. You can use olive oil as a substitute but I'd use vegetable oil instead for the more neutral flavor!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It iwll probably taste better if you use wine vinegar vs white vinegar!.
Olive oil tastes very different from sesame oil!. Sesame oil gives a distinct toasted sesame flavour which can be an important factor in asian or asian fusion cooking!. If you use olive oil you will lack an important flavour!.
However, if you have sesame seeds, you can toast those and add them to the mix, and if you use olive oil you probably won't notice a difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I agree with the first comment!.
The vinegar may not be a big deal, but the Sesame Oil is a major flavor component to Chinese Recipes for its smokey taste!.
Nevertheless, i'm sure whatever you make will taste great!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

The vinegar will be fine, but the sesame oil is for a toasted sesame flavor, you'll miss with the olive oil!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
