What are your favorite ingredients for a Quiche Lorraine?!
I like the traditional ones, but sometimes I use Manchego cheese and bacon and instead of spinach I use diced Poblano Chiles

My filling usually consists of bacon, Dijon mustard, shallots, Gruyere cheese, cream, milk, & whole eggs!. For my crust I'll whisk some ice cold water into the egg yolk & vinegar!.!.!.then pour over the dry ingredients (flour, butter) while stirring with a fork!. I then press this mixture into a disc, wrap in plastic and cool in the fridge for a half hour or so!.
I don't really have a recipe per se!. I just do it by memory!. Sometimes I'll stray from the basic filling ingredients above, and use green onions or chives in place of shallots, add some Portabello mushrooms, sun dried tomato, or ham!. I even tried adding corn once!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Technically, what you're making is quiche, but it isn't a quiche "Lorraine"!. But, hey, that's okay!. It's great to experiment with new ingredients, combinations, techniques!. More power to you!!!!! Congratulations on your spirit of innovation!.
