Anyone have some good ideas for fixing up Ramen soup?!
I like it and am getting bored with my ways!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Ramen is SOO versatile!.!.!. but not very healthy!.
I like to go through my fridge, slice and cook in whatever fresh vegetables I have!. Onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms are FABULOUS! If you have any left-over meat from dinner the night before, don't hesitate to throw some of that in too!.
You can hard-boil an egg and put that inside, kinda gives it an "Asian flair"!. Yummy
And, not sure if you've tried cheese melted in!? Cheddar cheese would be my favorite, and adding a little bit of broccoli & cauliflower REALLY makes it great!.
Bon Appetit!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you want to get gourmet with it, then
1 pound of ground beef
2 packets of oriental ramen noodles (3 oz size)
4 cups beef broth
16 oz (2 cups) frozen asian veggies
Fry up the ground beef, drain and mix with one package of seasoning!. In soup pot mix the broth, broken up noodles, the other season packet and the veggies!. Cook for about 3 minutes, then add the beef back in and heat thru!. Can season with teriyaki sauce or soy sauce if you like!.
My family really likes this recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When i make ramen i first saute 1/2 an onion in some olive oil so its tender and transparent, then add some frozen mixed veggies and some hoisin sauce and let it cook in a bit!. You can get hoisin at the supermarket in the asian foods aisle!.
Then just add some hot water & your noodles, and boil like usual!. I usually only add like half the flavour packet because you won't need it as much anymore!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
