I'm starving!! Good recipe?!

Question: I'm starving!! Good recipe!?
I need some good, quick, inexpensive recipes for meals!. I'm married, work full time, with two kids!. I try to spend at least 45 minutes to an hour on dinner each night, but we're tired of the same old stuff!. (Spagetti,Hamburger helper,Baked chicken,Tacos,Pizza!.!.!.) I want some ideas and recipes for a balanced meal that I don't have to spend hours preparing!. I have a crock pot and slow cooker, so any ideas for those would be great!. Nothing too weird please, we are use to eating southern food and my hubby is a meat and potatoes kinda guy!LOLWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
This is a crock pot version of pot roast!.
3 to 4 pounds chuck roast
a packet of lipton onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
baby carrots
4 to 5 potatoes (or you can use the canned potatoes)
1 onion cut in to large pieces (optional)
Pepper to taste
Water

Put roast in crock pot and top with the cream of mushroom soup and packet of onion soup!. Add enough water to just about cover the roast!.
add potatoes, onion and carrots (try to make sure they will be cooking in the liquid)!. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours!. If you need to thicken the gravy you can add a little water mixed with cornstarch, or flour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
