I have made this many times! It's simple and good of course it doesn't look like your typical lasagna!.

Total Time:28 min
Makes:4 servings, 2 cups each

12 oven-ready lasagna noodles, broken into quarters
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

Make It
BROWN meat in large (4-qt!.) saucepan on medium heat; drain!.

ADD peppers, garlic, spaghetti sauce, water and dressing; bring to boil!. Stir in noodles; reduce heat to medium-low!. Cover!.

start with a good tomato sauce!.!.!.I like Newman's Sockarooni, it tastes really good, has a lot of chunks, etc!. Add browned ground beef, layer that with lasagna noodles that are 2/3 of the way cook, you don't want them to get to mushy in the oven!. and also layer with ricotta cheese, then top with mozzarella back on 350F for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until cheese is bubbly and golden!. it's easy and this recipe doesn't cost too much, but it make enough for lunch the next day too if you're feeding 2-3Www@FoodAQ@Com

I buy the fresh pasta sheets (found in the grocery store's deli section) - no need to pre cook and no more expensive than the dry noodles!.

You can make your own tomato sauce or buy a jar sauce!. Fry some ground beef and sausage meat (take off the sausage casings) together!. Add your tomato sauce!.

In a bowl add a tub of ricotta cheese and add 1 egg to it and mix!. If you have some fresh or dry parsley, put some of this in too!. Add some pepper!.

Now to assemble!.!.!.
Put some sauce in the bottom of the baking dish, and place a sheet noodle on top!. On top of that noodle, put your ricotta cheese and a sprinkle of mozerella cheese!. Top with a noodle and repeat layers (sauce, noodle, cheese mix, noodle!.!.) until your dish is at the top!. The very top should have some sauce and the rest of the mozerella cheese!. If you have parmesean, add some of this on top too!.

With the fresh sheet noodles, you only need to bake for 20 minutes covered, and an additional 10 minutes uncovered (the noodle pkg should show which temp!. to put the oven) Let rest before cutting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make mine like this!. Brown 2 lbs hamburger with chopped onion and italian seasoning!. Drain off the fat and stir in a jar of your favorite pasta sauce!. In the meantime boil 12-18 lasagna noodles depending on how many layers!. I usually do two, its all the average pan can hold!. Once the meat sauce is heated stir in 8oz of ricotta or cream cheese until melted and blended evenly!. Cover the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan with some of the meat and sauce mix, layer some mozzarella cheese over that, then the noodles!. Do this another time, then sprinkle whats left of the meat sauce over the top and cover it all with mozzarella cheese!. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes, or long enough for all the cheese to melt!.

You could brown 1 lb!. of hamburger meat or Italian sausage (1/2 of each is really good!) and add to the sauce!. Sometimes I add half of a 10 ounce package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry, to the cottage cheese mixture!.

One Step Lasagna
2 ? cups Mozzarella cheese, grated
2 cups cottage cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 t!. garlic powder
1/2 t!. dried parsley
1 egg
1 jar spaghetti sauce
? pound uncooked lasagna noodles
? cup V-8 juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees!. Spray 9 x 13" baking dish with non-stick spray!.

Combine first 6 ingredients, mix well!.

Spread 2/3 cup spaghetti sauce over bottom of baking dish!. Place 5 noodles on top of sauce!. Top with half of the cheese mixture and evenly spread to edges!. Pour 2/3 cup of sauce on top!. Place 5 more noodles on top and repeat layers!. Pour remaining sauce over top and sprinkle with 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese!. Pour 2/3 cup of juice around edges of pan!.

Cover tightly with foil!. Bake for 1 hour!. Remove from oven, let sit for 20 minutes before removing foil!.

Cut into serving portions and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
