Answers:
pickles, salad peppers (peporocinis), jalapenos, spicy mustard, minced onion,Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mother always added a smidgen of Dijon mustard along with the mayo and salt and green onion!.

Now when I make it, I add 1/2 tsp of Dijon when using two hard boiled eggs along with a heaping tablespoon of mayo, a tablespoon of green onion, a few shakes of salt!. This is how devilled eggs are made too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add a 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar and salt & pepper to taste to the egg salad to enhance the flavor!. Then you can add some or all:
chopped celery
chopped onion
chopped black olives
paprika
chopped dill
chopped chivesWww@FoodAQ@Com

Chopped pickles and chopped onions are great in egg salad!.

You could also go another way and add a little cumin and curry powder or get really spicey and toss in some cayenne pepper as well!
