Can a scratched bread pan be oiled to prevent sticking?!

Question: Can a scratched bread pan be oiled to prevent sticking!?
Bread makers seem to have a non-stick surface impregnated into the metal!. When the pan becomes scratched ( over time ) the bread dough will likely tend to stick to the "de-surfaced" metal!. !. Is there a way of oil- coating the pan to circumvent the sticking problem!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes you can oil it- another trick I have been using is to take a silicone spatula (any thing that won't scratch that is thin will do)- and separate the edges of the baked bread from the pan before turning it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just oil the pan and it should be fine!. Lightly oil the panWww@FoodAQ@Com
