Somebody already mentioned grilled cheese sandwiches, so I won't repeat that!. However, I will give you some tips on how to improve upon those old-fashioned grilled cheese sandwiches that we remember growing up with!. One of the newest trends in foods over the past few years has been panini sandwiches!. A panini is really nothing more than a grilled cheese sandwich with other "stuff" inside it!. And a panini grill is really nothing more than a larger version of a George Foreman grill!. It puts lines on the bread!. Big whoop!.

You can make yourself all kinds of delicious "panini" sandwiches on a flat frying pan!. The grill marks are not necessary!.

Try this sandwich:

Swiss cheese
Cooked turkey or chicken
Sliced tomatoes
Cooked crisp bacon

Prepare sandwich on Italian bread, cut 1/2 inch thick!. Prepare as you would for a grilled cheese sandwich!.

Or try this combo:

2 thin slices of onion
4-5 thin strips of red or green bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
shaved cooked roast beef (as much as you like on a sandwich)
2-3 slices of provolone cheese
Italian bread

Again, prepare the sandwich the same way you'd make a grilled cheese sandwich!.

There are so many things you can put into a grilled cheese sandwich to change it from ordinary to awesome!. Just use your imagination!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is really easy!.
Rice:- 1/2 Cup Boiled
Thoroughly rinse your rice!.
Bring a pot with a lot of water to the boil and add rice!.
When the water is back at the boiling point reduce heat to a gentle simmer, just enough to keep the rice moving!.
Set timer for 15 minutes and then turn off heat!.
Taste test!.
Drain thoroughly and return to pot, and put on the element for a minute or two!.
Residual heat will help dry the rice!.
Fluff up with a fork and serve!.

I would heat some frozen mixed veggies in a steamer as the rice cooks and after draining the rice I would combine them!.

You could use any type of sauce to add, like Soy, Sweet Soy, Worcestershire etc!.

Put a soft poached egg on top so the yolk will add some taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Potatoes and Green Beans

Take a few potatoes and boil them until soft!. While boiling potatoes, also boil the green beans!. Peel the boiled potatoes and put into large beep pan!. Add the drained green beans to the pan and add salt to your taste!. I also add in some dried herbs like Italian Seasoning, Chives, Basil Leaves, etc!. I also like to add some Garlic Salt!. When the potatoes and beans are warm and slightly golden *due to oil*, serve with some sour cream on the side (if desired)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Really hard to screw up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
