Drying pumpkin seeds...?!


Question: Drying pumpkin seeds!.!.!.!?
I'm going to be toasting some pumpkin seeds using this recipe, http://allrecipes!.com/Recipe/Toasted-Pum!.!.!. except I'm going to cut the sugar in half!. It says that you have to use dry seeds!. Will it turn out just as good if I don't let them dry!? I just carved 3 pumpkins and want to toast the seeds now!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can toast them now!. I usually do 30 minutes total, taking them out and mixing them up half way through!. It doesn't make a difference if they are wet, you may just need to add a few minutes to the cook time,

All reciepes are basically the same go for it!. You don't need the sugar at all!.

I just made a pumpkin pie using a real pumpkin that turned out well!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can place them on a baking tray and into the oven on quite a low heat!. It might take some time, but will surely make a difference to the taste and texture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
