Question: Easy recipe with chicken!?
So, I have chicken breast, and I'm really craving it, what should I make with it!? I'd prefer it to be easy and healthy!. I don't want to do too much work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take your pick:

Creamed Peas
? bag frozen green peas
? onion, diced
? cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper
Cook peas in water to cover in saucepan until tender, about 5 minutes!. Drain in collander!. Melt butter in same saucepan and sautee onions over medium heat until transparent!. Add peas, salt and pepper and heavy cream!. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes!.

Easy Zucchini and Squash
2 - 3 zucchini, scrubbed and trimmed
2 - 3 squash, scrubbed and trimmed
olive oil
salt and pepper
Cut each zucchini and squash lengthwise!. Drizzle olive oil on bottom of large platter, place vegetables cut side down in oil!. Let marinate at least 20 minutes!. Turn over and season with salt and pepper!.

Heat large skillet over medium high heat, drizzle with olive oil!. Placed vegetables in skillet!. Cook about 5 minutes each side!.

Can also be prepared on the grill -- even better!

Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Russett potatoes, with their low moisture and high starch content, are excellent potatoes for mashing!. But other types of potatoes work well too, including Yukon gold potatoes and round white or round red potatoes!.
3 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
6 cloves garlic
? cup fat free milk
1 tablespoon butter
salt
white pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
In a large stockpot, cover the potatoes with water!. Salt well with about 1 T!. salt!. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and let simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes!. Drain!.

In small saucepan, cover the garlic with water!. Bring to boil!. Reduce heat and let simmer until tender, about 10 minutes!. Drain!.

In food processor blender, combine the garlic and milk!. Puree until smooth!. Add the pureed garlic and milk to the potatoes!. Add butter and mash potatoes!. Season with white pepper and additional salt if needed!.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately!.

German Style Green Beans
2 - 3 slices bacon, fried crisp
3 tablespoons onion, chopped
1 can green beans, drained
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
Reserve bacon drippings in skillet!. Sautee onion in drippings until transparent!. Add beans, vinegar and sugar!. Heat over medium heat stirring frequently for about 10 minutes!. Crumble bacon over beans and toss before serving!.

Glazed Carrots
2 cups baby carrots
4 tablespoons butter
? cup brown sugar
Cook carrots in water to cover until crisp tender -- about 10 minutes!. Drain and return to pan!. Add butter and sugar, stir well to coat!. Cook over low heat about 5 minutes, stirring often!.

Italian Vegetable Medley
1 bag frozen Italian vegetables, steamed
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
? cup Parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper
Toss all together while vegetables are still warm!.

Quarter Baked Potatoes
3 - 4 potatoes, scrubbed well, quartered
? cup olive oil
2 teaspoons parmesan cheese, grated
? teaspoon garlic powder
? teaspoon salt
? teaspoon pepper
Place unpeeled and quartered potatoes in large bowl!. Toss with the olive oil!. Place in 8 x 8 inch baking dish and sprinkle with remaining ingredients!. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees, remove cover and bake additional 15 minutes, or until potatoes are done and golden!.

Rice Pilaf
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cups white rice
4 cups chicken broth
salt and pepper
Melt butter with oil in large saucepan over medium heat!. Add onion and sautee until tender!. Add rice and cook for 2 minutes!. Pour in broth and seasoning, bring to a boil, stirring frequently!. Cover, reduce to low heat, simmer for 20 minutes!. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

here's my four main things i do:

1) squeeze some italian salad dressing into a tupperware container!. put the chicken in and shake it up so it's coated!. if you have time, let it sit like that in the fridge for a while!. cook it @ 350 for about 40 minutes!.

2) rub some BBQ sauce on it!.!.!. cook for about 40 mins!.

3) melt some butter in the microwave, add some seasoning (whatever you like) to the butter and put it on the chicken and cook it!.

4) get frenchs friend onions, crunch 'em up, roll the chicken in ranch dressing, roll it in the crushed onions, and cook it for 40 mins!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

take chicken breast - roll them in a package of taco seasoning!.!.!.

put in oven on 350 for 35 minutes or until juices from chicken turn clear!.

pour salsa over chicken breast & cover w/ a little shredded cheese!.

put back in over until cheese is melted & serve w/ sour cream! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sprinkle boneless breasts with Italian seasonings and some Parmesan cheese!. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes!.!.!.!.!. tender, juicy and delicious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grill it-Hopefully you have a George Foreman Grill or an outside gas grill!.

If not you can saute it with olive oil and spicesWww@FoodAQ@Com

Put it in a baking dish, pour Italian dressing over it, bake at 400F!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
