Answers:
toasted bread will not turn soft ever!. Unless you place them in a plastic bag or anything that would cover it!. Keep them on the table in the open and it should be more than fine!.

I haven't heard it turns soft, but I know when you toast it and leave it on a napkin , it turns harder and crunchier!. I know this because I make toast for breakfast, and I take it to work , I drive for 30 miles and when I get there its so crunchy( I just place it on a napkin ,without covering it )then add the jelly when I get there!.

Yes they will soften, so I advice that you don't toast it too long for that may burn it!. You should get a heater, to just keep it warm until it's ready to be served!. Good Luck~Www@FoodAQ@Com

Toast them in the oven under your broiler setting!. Careful don't burn them they toast quick! This all around heat takes more moisture out of the bread than a regular toaster machine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just buy pre-toasted crackers hope this helps! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
