Is Beef Bourguignon traditionally served over anything?!

Question: Is Beef Bourguignon traditionally served over anything!?
I have the recipe in my slow cooker now for dinner and this is the first time I'm making it!. I was curious because it seems like a beef stew type of meal (the picture looked good, honestly!.!.!.) but my husband and I aren't big fans of just a plain stew or soup!. We had rice last night so I don't want to make that again, but would you suggest maybe making some ditalini pasta and serving over that or should I let it go & do the plain stew!? Thanks so much for your help!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My vote is for mashed potato! Here is a tip for making them thick and creamy!. After you drain the potato's put the empty pan back on the burner and add your milk, then put in half a pack of cream cheese!. Then throw back in the potato's and whip like usual, adding milk if they become to thick!. Season with salt and pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Traditionally it is served like a stew!. However, the modern preparation allows for the serving of egg noodles along with the dish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like to serve it over egg noodles, but mashed potatoes are pretty good too!. Other ideas: couscous, ziti, or pasta - anything that will make the most of the yummy stew sauce!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

traditionally no -but its fine to serve it over rice or egg noodles if like ditalini can be used but if you have orzo or any strand pasta that might be better even toasting up some good crunch bread and serving over it sounds pretty good tooWww@FoodAQ@Com

We usually have parsley buttered egg noodles with this type of dish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mashed potato is the best with this!. Soaks up all the good sauce too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
