Answers:
Tell "the hub" to get large ones!. And NOT the pre-cooked kind! They will turn into rubber!. The raw ones from the butcher that you have to peel and de-vein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The regular size ones will do, You can have him get a bag from the frozen section, or the ring of fresh ones that come already peeled (ya know the ones, they put a small container of cocktail sauce in the middle)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You might want to tell him to pick up the Jumbo shrimp, or the 16-20 count per pound!. If they are to small they are hard to work with!. the batter slips off during the cooking!.
Good Luck happy eating :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think bigger is better, but it doesn't really matter!. Especially when you're battering them, that makes them seem bigger anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like fresh prawns!. They are at vons or labertsons or if you are in the mid west, jewel-osco or dominicksWww@FoodAQ@Com

medium size shrimp works goodWww@FoodAQ@Com
