Answers:
Yes you can use that!. But you need to know how much to use

a good way to test spices for taste and strength

first make the cookie dough!.

Using a bowl that is the same size as the bowl you used to make the cookie dough in!.
Add water to the empty bowl until it is the matches the amount of cookie dough you have in the other bowl!.

Add 1 tsp and taste!. Evaluate the taste!. Is it to strong or not enough!. This will give you good idea of how much of the apple pie spice you should use!.

if to strong add less or add more

this will avoid destroying the cookies!.

if you like the taste remember to write down how much spice you used for next time!.

Since it has other spices in the mixture besides the cinnamon and cloves that the recipe calls for, use 1/2 teaspoon of the apple pie spice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Substituting 3/4 of a teaspoon of apple pie spice will work out just fine!. If you like a lot of flavor add more!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

do a heaping 1/2 teaspoonWww@FoodAQ@Com
