It depends on the size of your roaster and turkey!. You can pan up items in foil pans and put in around turkey if it is small!. My roaster is huge and I do normally 25 pound average turkeys!. I have done a 10lb!. one and uses a smaller roaster!. I do my stuffing in the bird and my vegetables are done earlier to reheat unless I can add them in the pan as in pot roast turkey!. I can with the small roaster fit bread pans on the side to bake some other items!. When I have all items done, I do cut up the turkey for serving and repack it in pans to reheat along others for large meal times with family!. Do not bake dry items like bread at the same time with steam releasing items!. The smaller items may need less time to heat as well!. I do baked beans a long time or baked potatoes or apples!. I usually use 350* and remove items as they are done to reheat later!. It is best to do the turkey alone as you usually will not burn anything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It really depends on how large your oven cavity is!. To test it you will need to take the pan you are doing the turkey in and the one for the lasagna and see if both will fit in your oven with room to spare!. You will want the turkey in the middle part of the oven and there may not be room enough for the lasagna on a lower shelf!. You may want to plan on having fewer baked items and more that can be done ahead, in a crock pot, toaster oven or even a grill!. Bake your pies the day ahead as well as any breads you may be making!. You will have some time to bake in the oven after you remove the turkey since it should rest for about 15 min!. loosely covered and while you are making the gravy stove top!. Most people do the stuffing in the cavity of the bird and a second dish along side in the oven!. Good luck and best wishesWww@FoodAQ@Com
if you have a big enough oven, you can!. but i wouldn't recommend it!. when you cook a turkey, you will be opening the oven several times, and that means heat loss!. also, a turkey and a lasagna cook at different temps!. if i were you, i would make the lasagna ahead of time, bake it even, then do the turkey!. then it would simply be a matter of reheating the lasagna!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Possible!.
but it does take longer!.
since like
its the same amount of heat
for two things instead of one!.
and i wouldn't suggest adjusting the heat AND cooking two thingsWww@FoodAQ@Com
