Question: Should I bake red velvet or banana rum cake for the sale!?
I'm a member of a school organization and in order to save up money for a trip to Chicago, we're having a bake sale!. I am stuck between baking red velvet cake or banana rum cake!. Please help me make a decision!.The sale is at noon!. Thanks everyone! ^_^Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am all for the red-velvet, it's a unique cake compared to the banana rum cake!. Plus no rum for school - unless it's a university!.
Since it's so close to Halloween you could sell it as Vampire Blood Cake with Bone Frosting!. Last year I made red-velvet cupcakes for my daughter's bake sale, and told the kids that I cut my finger while I making the cupcakes, but I decided to let the the blood just flow into the batter, and "oh yeah, watch out for my finger nail"!. I'd say red velvet, I think more people are apt to buying that versus anything with even a slight amount of alcohol, especially if little kids are involvedWww@FoodAQ@Com
