Answers:
I've worked in a grocery store for almost four years and my primary job has been cutting and mixing different types of fruit!. This is the best way I have found for cutting pineapples:

It's best to use the sharpest knife you can!.

1!. Cut off the stem and the bottom 3/4", trying to make the cuts as even/flat as possible!.
2!. Place the bottom end on the cutting board, place your knife near the outer edge of the inner portion and slice downward from top to bottom using a steady sawing motion!. Try to cut as little of the skin off as possible without leaving too many of the seeds and brown holes on the inner portion!. Repeat this until the desired amount skin has been removed!.
3!.Slice the pineapple into four equal portions by slicing it through the middle from top to bottom once and then again across the first one!.
4!. Shave off the sharp corner that is slightly paler than the rest(the core) from each slice!. You should now have four relatively rectangular slices of pineapple!.
5!. Lay each slice flat on the side where the core used to be, and cut them in half lengthwise!. You should have eight long slices
6!. Individually(or in pairs) cut these long slices into 6-7 smaller slices and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1!. Remove the leafy crown with a sharp knife and cut a thin slice from the base!. Slice the skin away from top to bottom, removing any brown 'eyes' as you go!.

2!. Carefully cut the pineapple in half lengthwise and then into thick wedges!.

3!. Remove the tough central core and discard!.

4!. Chop each wedge into bite-sized chunks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

usually if you buy one at wal mart it shows you how to cute it but i just cut off the skin then take the skin and eat the meat off like you would an orange from a peelWww@FoodAQ@Com
