The truth is out there!. Do you really believe the people who read the internet + post what they have read!? Do you believe someone like me - who will tell you straight up what things are in hot dogs!? I will tell you what is NOT in a hot dog, when you go to the store you will find pork chops, sausage, tenderloins, pigs feet, chitterlings,
{ now that is just from the pig of course}!.
Here is the problem: imagine all the parts of a pig or cow or chicken + all the other animals they sell parts of in your local grocery store!. Do you have this in your mind!? Imagine if you can the things you do not see for sale : eyes -teeth-hair-scrotum's-testicles-+ the other parts attached to that area, guts, hooves, tails, feathers, { do not worry about intestines they are used for sausage+ chitterlings} did I miss anything!? Yes I think I did, lungs, ovaries, abdominal walls, snouts{ noses} , ear canals, sphincters{ did I spell that right!?} , taints, the guts that splash out, toe nails, dewlaps, and there is so much more!!!
OH I WISH I HAD AN OSCAR MEYER WIENER-!.
Prob is: it is true-NOTHING IS WASTED!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most hot dogs combine together a blend of meats (pork, beef, chicken, or turkey), meat fat, a cereal filler which could be either bread crumbs, flour, or oatmeal, a little bit of egg white, and an array of herbs and seasonings including garlic, pepper, ground mustard, nutmeg, salt, and onion!.
Once these ingredients are ground together, the stuffing is squeezed into sausage casings!. Many of the hot dogs sold in stores are enclosed in synthetic cellulose casings, but most home-made hot dogs are made out of natural animal intestines!.
Following the stuffing process is the pre-cooking cycle in which the hot dog links are tossed into boiling water for approximately 15 minutes!. Finally, the dogs are packaged, loaded on delivery trucks, and sent off to food markets!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no fixed specification for hot dog meat, with pork and beef being the most popular ingredients!. Less expensive hot dogs typically contain some pork, but are primarily chicken, due to the low cost and availability of mechanically separated chicken!. Hot dogs have high sodium, fat and nitrate content, which have been linked to health problems in some consumers!. In recent years, due to changing dietary preferences in the U!.S!., manufacturers have turned to turkey, chicken, or vegetarian meat substitutes, and have begun lowering salt content!.
In general, if a manufacturer produces two types of hot dog sausages, "wieners" tend to contain pork and are the blander of the two, while "franks" tend to be all beef and more-strongly seasoned
