I need some more info!. Where will this restaurant be!? Will it be more of a family restaurant, or will it be upscale!?
Doshi's Dorayaki could be a good name!. If the restaurant is intended to be a "neighborhood" restaurant (that is, the kind of place people run to for lunch on break, grab takeout from when they're studying late, congregate at to socialize), this name would work well!. It sounds friendly!. Doshi will sound like a Japanese name to American ears, so it works!.
If you want to get clever, you could try Yaki d'Or (which means "the golden yaki" since d'or is French for "of gold") or the Yaki Door!. Only problem there is that people might expect French for the first one!.
You could always use "(your first or last name)'s Place" or "(your first or last name)'s Dorayaki!." Pretty easy and a standard name for a neighborhood joint!.
Good luck!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
