What's a great salsa recipe?!
Answers:
I normally do not measure ingredients when making this salsa, but I will try to explain it as close as I can!.
8 plum tomatoes chopped
1-2 jalapeno peppers chopped (Test it after only one!. You may not even want to use a whole one!.)
Juice of 4 limes
1 onion chopped finely
1/2 to 1 cup cilantro chopped
1 clove garlic chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate!. The salsa gets hotter after sitting a while, so take it easy on the peppers!. You can always add more if it is not hot enough after refrigerating for a few hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

14 oz can stewed tomatoes
6 slices of pickled jalapeno
1-2 tbsp vinegar juice from the pickled jalapenos
About 3 shakes each of garlic salt and onion powder
About 6 shakes of ground black pepper
A light squeeze of lime juice
Then just blend!. I make this salsa all the time for myself and to pot-lucks for work and people love it!. People went through 2 whole bowls of it last time I took it to a work BBQ!. You can adjust the amount of seasonings to taste!. If you use garlic powder instead of garlic salt, I would recommend using a little bit of salt!. The salt gives it a nice punch!. You can also try different peppers!. I would recommend serrano and green chile for a more New Mexican taste than a Texan one like this!. I don't like fresh tomato sauce much, I prefer stewed because it has a much much fuller flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
