Answers:
THE grocedry store ads come out on tuesdays, i see what is on sale, whats buy 1 get 1 free and go from there
my menus basically consist of large pots of food such as
chili
spaghetti sauce
saurkraut and pork
stuffed peppers
stuffed cabbage
pot roast
chicken ala king
goulash
split pea soup
chicken soup
bean and ham soup
broccoli soup
all of these item can be made in a hige pot and put in individual meal sized containers and frozen, this way i can pull something out of the freezer every night instead if worrying what to cook every night!.
on saturdays , i cook 3 meals with the intention of eating a little of one on monday, freezing the rest, another on tuesday, freezing the rest and the third on wed and freezing the rest

if you do thisw once a week you will have enough meals to get thru the winter with having tro really COOK a meal, besides on saturday Www@FoodAQ@Com

Now that it's just me and my husband, I don't plan our weekly meals -- but when our kids were growing up I always made a two week meal plan (we got paid every two weeks)!. The meal plan was my guide for the grocery list!. Sometimes, I would check the grocery store ads and make our meal plans based on what was on sale!.

Another thing I used to do way back when the kids were active in sports, after school activities and the entire family was busy, I would plan the meals, then prepare them for the week!. It took just as long to prepare 4 casseroles as to prepare 1, so I would make up a few and freeze them, then I wasn't in the kitchen cooking supper every night!. It also helped to brown hamburger meat and freeze it for quick meals, along with boiling a whole chicken, saving the broth for recipes and deboning the chicken, measuring out enough for various casseroles and freezing!.

It may seem like a lot of work at first, but once you get the hang of it and plan ahead, you will be spending a lot less time in the kitchen and you will always have necessary food items to feed your family without calling for pizza delivery!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I go by whats on sale at my favorite stores that week and I like to try different things !. If you don't like to cook you can buy whole roasted chickens or buy turkey(sliced) or roast beef at the deli and just make sides of potatoes and vegetables!. Walmart-if you live near one- has alot of pre-cooked frozen entree's!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I just kind of look around to see what I have!. Then, I think about what I would like to eat!. I also get suggestions from the hubby and kids!. I go from there!. I don't always get what I would like, they don't always get what they would like - depending on what is on sale, what we have time for that week, etc!. BUT, at least it's a place to start!.

I then write down my menu!. Most weeks I only cook 4 nights a week, then we have leftovers one night, my husband usually works late one night, and we have pizza night one night!.

also, you could go to Kraftfoods!.com and look at their "5 meals, one bag option"!. Usually there are some healthy options and/or healthy edits you can make to the recipes!. Most of the recipes are really good and my family likes it because it gives us kind of a break in the normal routine!. I've found several things there that I have added to our normal dinner routine because they were so good!. Most of time it's pretty inexpensive, too!. Of course, they want you to buy the Kraft brands, but you can substitute store brands or whatever to meet your budget!.

Hope this helps!! best of luck!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i usually use http://allrecipes!.com/
http://www!.betterrecipes!.com/ or
https://www!.eatbetteramerica!.com
eat better america has been my favorite lately - they have a lot of "heathified" recipes
i usually search by low fat or low calorie and then pick a few that sound good and make a list from there
its just me and my husband so sometimes i have to make the recipes smaller but it works outWww@FoodAQ@Com

I sit down during the weekend and plan about 3 meals to cook during the week!. I see what's on sale and go from there!. I sometimes take out a cookbook or go on-line for some recipes or ideas!. I always try to cook what's seasonal and always try to cook healthy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make it up as I go with what I have at hand!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
