Question: Need the recipe for Quick Apple Dumplings!.!?
They are made with apple slices wrapped in a slice of refrigerated crescent roll!. I think the ingredients include butter, sugar, orange juice or sprite, cinnamon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this is what I always use and it's absolutely delicious:

1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
4 apples - peeled, cored and halved
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
Butter a 7x11 inch baking pan!. Separate biscuit dough into 8 pieces!. Flatten each piece of dough into a circle!. Wrap one biscuit around each apple half and place, seam side down, in pan!.
In small bowl, combine sugar, water, melted butter and vanilla!. Pour mixture over dumplings in pan!. Sprinkle cinnamon on top!. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, until golden!. Serve hot!. serves 8!.

2 cups SR flour
120gram butter
1 egg
Milk to combine
2 apples, peeled, cored and quartered

Syrup
1 ? cups water
? cup sugar
100grams butter
3 tablespoon golden syrup
Place all ingredients into a saucepan and bring to the boil

Method:
Rub butter into flour!. Beat egg!. Add milk, and then mix into flour to form a dough!.
Divide this mixture into 8 pieces and roll out, fold around each quarter of apple, place into a greased baking dish!. Pour over hot syrup!. Bake in a moderate oven for approx!. 30 minutes until golden brown and cooked!.
Serve with vanilla ice-cream and cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
