Question: Does anyone have a good recipe for a pie crust made with vanilla wafer cookies!?
It's for a banana cream pie!. I need to make it in the next 3 hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vanilla Wafer Pie Crust

1 1/4 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
2 tablespoons sugar (or Splenda)
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 egg white

Directions
In a food processor crush enough wafers to make 1 1/4 cups of crumbs!.

Add sugar and butter to crumbs in food processor!.

Pulse until blended!.

Add egg white and pulse until evenly moistened!.

Press into a 9" pie plate!.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes!.

Cool completely before using!.

PIE CRUST
2 C crushed cookies
3/4 C melted butter

Preheat your oven to 375 F!. Mix all together & press into 2 9" pie plates!. Bake 8 minutes, and cool before filling!.

PIE CRUST #2
1 1/3 C crushed cookies
1/4 C melted butter
3 packets sweet 'n low OR 2 TB sugar

Preheat oven to 350 F!. Mix cookies with butter & sugar (or substitute) until blended thouroughly!.
Press firmly over bottom & up sides of a 9" pie plate to form a crust!. Bake 8 minutes!.

Chill before filling!.
Can add favorite cream pie filling & chill to set!.
Serve when chilled & set!.

Crush a bunch of wafers, not really sure how many, add a little melted butter and sugar!. Press into the bottom of a pan!. I always like to bake my crumb crusts for about 15-20 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

just crush the wafers to fine ground!. Add some sugar and some chopped nuts!. Mix in some melted butter!. Sounds good to me!Www@FoodAQ@Com
