This is yummy and so easy! Take your salmon steaks and remove as many bones as you see!. They come out relatively easily, but I use a pair of tweezers to make it easy to eat with no surprises!.!.!.or as few as possible!. I like to rinse off the flesh, and pat dry!. Put them on a baking pan that you have lined with aluminum foil!. Make sure the piece is big enough to cover the bottom of the pan and go all the way around the steaks!. Then sprinkle each steak lightly with sea salt and freshly ground pepper!. (the regular works okay too) Slice one to two medium sized lemons very thinly!. I remove the seeds, but other than that, I just slice them and arrange them on the steaks!. Next I take a nice white onion, but a yellow onion will do, and slice it extremely thin!. Put those slices on top of the steaks!. Then I close the foil so it makes a packet!. It is your choice, I put mine on a grill or you can bake it in the oven!. It should be around 350 degrees, and it bakes really quickly!. Sealing the foil will prevent it from drying out, and the added ingredients just heighten the flavor of the salmon!. I cook mine until the flesh is opaque, and the meat separates when you test it!. It is easy to over-cook!. so I figure about three minutes on each side, even though I don't turn them!. After about 5 to 6 minutes I check it, and how does it is depends on the size and number of your steaks!. The more you have the little bit longer it will take!. I like to serve my salmon steaks with capers on the side!. I remove the lemons and onions, but put the onions and capers on a little plate for those of us who like those tastes!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
For an Indian alternative try the Tandoori Salmon Curry kit from the below!. (£1!.99) It says is serves 4 but will easily stretch to 6!.
Beware this is HOT!. If you want it less spicy then dont put all the packet in to the salmon marinade!.
Serve with rice and naan bread!. Good for entertaining!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pan fry with oil and a bit of butter, or foil wrap and bake in the oven (I add dill, black pepper and a splash of white wine or vermouth/martini)!. Oven cooking takes about 20 minutes, pan frying a lot less!. Serve with new potatoes and broccoli or baked potatoes and salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
