Although you should never thaw ground meat on the counter, sometimes it happens, and it is important to do this first, smell it in 2 or 3 different places to detect a bad or rotten smell, if there is no bad smell and it dose not have a slimy feel to it, it may be ok!. When you cook it be sure to cook it to above 160 deg!.to kill all the bacteria !. I hope this helped you !.!.!.enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You really shouldn't thaw on the counter (even though I do from time to time as well)

But if it was out of the fridge for more then say 12 hours (defrosting first and all) then it is probably not so good!. Give it a good sniff and see, then just make sure to cook it really well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes you can cook it and it will be fineWww@FoodAQ@Com
