What can I make with the insides of my jack-o-lantern pumpkin?!

Question: What can I make with the insides of my jack-o-lantern pumpkin!?
I know that most recipes say not to use the bigger pumpkins for baking because they are too stringy, but are there any good recipes out there using the big pumpkins!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Roast the seeds after you have washed the glop off and dried them!. If you are talking about the pumpkin flesh itself you can bake it in the oven with butter just like any other squash!. It is delicious!. Pumpkin pie pumpkins and a whole different strain of pumpkin!. The ones you carve for Halloween aren't used for pies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you want to go to the trouble, sort out the goo from the seeds!. Rinse the seeds several times and dry on paper towels!. Then, put them in a bowl with some olive oil and about a tablespoonful of salt, mix well!. Spread on cookie sheets and bake them at about 300 until crispy!. They're good as store bought pumpkin seeds!.
As far as the gooey, stringy pumpkin "guts" if you have farm animals, they'll eat it otherwise they are pure throw away!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
