How can you bake the best pumpkin seeds?!

***Toasted Pumpkin Seeds***
1 cup raw pumpkin seeds, rinsed and dried
6 tablespoons white sugar, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C)!. Spread pumpkin seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet!. Toast for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until dry and toasted!. Larger seeds may take longer!.
In a large bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons of white sugar, salt, and pumpkin pie spice!. Set aside!. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat!. Add the pumpkin seeds and sprinkle the remaining sugar over them!. Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar melts, about 45 seconds!. Pour seeds into the bowl with the spiced sugar and stir until coated!. Allow to cool before serving!. Store in an airtight container at room temperature!.

THE RECIPE FOR PUMPKIN SEEDS
3 c!. pumpkin seeds, washed
1/2 c!. butter
1/2 tsp!. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp!. each seasoned salt, onion salt and celery salt
1/3 tsp!. garlic salt
Bake seeds on a cookie sheet at 300 degrees for 10 minutes!. Melt butter in saucepan!. Stir in seasonings and combine!. Coat seeds with mixture and bake at 250 degrees for three minutes!. Makes 3 cups!.

ROASTED SUNFLOWER AND PUMPKIN SEEDS
1 c!. sunflower seeds
1 c!. pumpkin seeds
2 tsp!. tamari
On separate baking dishes, spread seeds out evenly!. Bake in 325 degree oven!. Stir occasionally to roast evenly!. Check after 10 minutes!. When seeds are golden, sprinkle with tamari and stir to coat evenly!. Allow to cool!. Store in a jar!.
Seeds or nuts can be roasted three to four days ahead of party!. Variation: Almonds, pecans or filberts can be tamari-roasted too!.

PUMPKIN MUFFINS WITH PUMPKIN SEEDS
2 c!. all-purpose flour
3/4 c!. packed brown sugar
2 tsp!. baking powder
1/4 tsp!. baking soda
1/2 tsp!. salt
1 tsp!. cinnamon
1/4 tsp!. powdered ginger
1/8 tsp!. ground cloves
Dash ground nutmeg
1 c!. canned pumpkin
1/3 c!. melted butter, cooled
2 lg!. eggs, room temp!.
1/4 c!. buttermilk, room temp!.
2 tsp!. vanilla
1 c!. + 2 tbsp!. pumpkin seeds
Heat oven to 400 degrees!. Grease muffin pan!. In a bowl mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg!. In another bowl mix pumpkin, butter, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla!. Make a well in dry ingredient mixture, add milk mixture and stir well!. Add 1 cup of pumpkin seeds!. Fill muffin tin with mixture and sprinkle tops with remaining pumpkin seeds!. Bake 15 to 20 minutes!. SDR

You just get pumpkin seeds and wash them off!. Then you spread them across a buttered cookie sheet!. Put some sugar or salt on them and bake them in the oven at 350 degrees!.Keep them in the oven for as long as you want, until they are crispy!.
