No!. A day or so after would be OK, but a week!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

I drive my husband crazy when I check all the dates on everything !.!.!.!.he does not care as much as I do but I feel it's important to not take chances with the food we buy these days!. You never know how long they have had the meat thawed out before they repackage it and put it on the shelves to sell!.
If I were you I'd use it right away and not let it hang around!. It's not worth the risk you take getting some upset stomach or worse!.
When I go shopping and look at the ground beef I make sure the packaging is tight and not lose and the meat is not turning dark that it's bright moist looking and nice red color!. I would not wait 1 week cook it as soon as possible!. In my opinion 1 week is too long!. Next time you buy meat repackage it when you bring it home put a label on it and place it in the freezer so you can take it out as you need it!.

never eat after expiration dates!. those are put on to allow a ample time to eat between process time and "hazard time" the longer it sits, the more bacteria forms!. If it is brown definatly do not eat it, you will get very ill!. Only way to prevent this is to freeze your meat once you buy it!. frozen meat is good for 2 months!. hope this helps!! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Probably!. But eat it quickly and fully cook it to 170 degrees interior temp!. to kill all the nasty little goobers!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If its been in the fridge, no, if its been in the freezer, you should be okayWww@FoodAQ@Com

It probably won't be a good idea!. I would just get rid of it!. Better be safe than sorry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
