Any idea how long a 4.5 lb chicken is going to have to roast on 350F?!
Thanks for the help!. I am estimating about 3 - 3!.5 hours!. Is that correct!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
2 hours, plus 15 mins for resting before carving!. the easiest way to determine if a chicken is cooked is to wiggle a leg-it should move easilyWww@FoodAQ@Com
Assuming it is fresh or fully defrosted, figure on about 1!.5 hours if you're cooking it covered, or a bit shorter (1 hour 15 mins) if cooking uncovered!.
To test doneness, pierce one of the legs with a fork or knife; if the juice that runs out is clear, the chicken is done!. If the juice is still pink, cook the chicken a bit longer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say 1 1/2 to 2 hours!. At least start checking it then!. You can cut a small slice into the center and see that it is not pink!. It may be longer than that, but you don't want to over cook it or it will be dry!.
also, check the label where it tells you how many pounds it is!. They sometimes give cooking instructions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd cook it about 2 hours adding 15 to 30 minutes if you are going to stuff it!. You can always check the internal temp with a meat thermometer--it should be between 170 and 175 degrees (don't let the thermometer touch the bone)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You should cook this bird approx!. 20 min!. per pound!. You need to periodically check, making sure you reach 176-180 degrees in the meatiest part of the chicken!. You do this by inserting a meat thermometer into the breast area!. Don't go too deep or you'll go all the way thru the breast!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
about an hour and a half!.!.!.!. tuck it's little wing tips under it's head (like it's reclining and relaxing!) and tie it's legs together so it bakes evenly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
1/2 hour per lb!. So about 2!.25 hours!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I'd cook a bird of that size for an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would say about 1hr breast up and then flip it and an additional 30-45 minWww@FoodAQ@Com
