Question: How else can you eat avocados besides in guacamole!? !?
I asked my dad to pick me up some avocados from the store, because I just found out that I love avocados, lol!. So, how else can you eat them besides in guacamole!? 10 points for best answer!

I love them to!I like to take them and cut them in half and put Italian dressing in it and just eat it like that!here are some other recipes

I love avocados too! the way i eat them is i cut them in half and remove the big seed out of one half!. then i put olive oil, balsamic vinegar and red wine vinegar on the halves of avocado then I put some salt, pepper and a little bit of garlic salt for some flavor!.!.!.!.!. its pretty good!.!.!. i guess!.!. just make sure you don't put too much garlic salt on it otherwise its pretty nasty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can slice them up, peel the skin, and eat them raw (this is what i usually do)

you could add the slices to frozen pizza and bake

the slices are good in tacos or a salad

take two avocados clean them and mash them down like for guacamole add the juice of 1 lime, add 2 cups ranch dressing and 1/2 tps cumin, mix well!. great dip for vegiesWww@FoodAQ@Com

BACON, SOURCREAM, AVOCADO OMLETTE

2 eggs
milk and/or mayonnaise
half of an avocado
sour cream
bacon, chopped
onions (optional)
salt and pepper
butter

In a separate bowl combine 2 eggs with mayonnaise and/or milk!.

Meanwhile, cook bacon in microwave or separate skillet and cut into pieces!.

In a large skillet, stir together butter and eggs, and cook over medium heat!.

When the eggs are done, turn off the heat and add the bacon, sour cream, and avocado!.

Fold over the egg carefully to finalize the omlette, let it cool and enjoy

CHILLED AVOCADO SOUP

4 ounces sour cream
2 avocados, peeled, seeded and puréed
6 3/4 ounces green chilies, puréed
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 quart light cream

1 ounce chipotle chile pepper, puréed
1 cup whole milk
to taste salt
to taste while pepper

Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix well!. Allow to chill overnight to let the seasonings blend before using!.

1/4 c!. finely chopped radish
8 oz!. imitation crab, squeezed out
1 avocado, peeled & chopped
1 loaf quick rye bread or 1 unsliced loaf round rye bread
butter
Lettuce leaves
6 cherry tomatoes

Blend mayonnaise, sour cream and lemon juice!. To half the mixture stir in bacon, celery and radish!. To remaining mixture stir in crab meat, avocado and 1/4 teaspoon salt!. Cut bread into slices (crosswise into 3 horizontal slices)!. Toast under broiler; spread with butter!. Spread bottom slices with bacon mixture!. Top with lettuce and middle slice of bread!. Spread with crab mixture and lettuce!. Top with remaining slice of bread!. Insert skewers through tomatoes and into loaf from top to bottom!. Cut into wedges!. Yield: 6 servings!.

2 1/2 c!. cooked, chopped white chicken meat
1/2 c!. finely chopped celery
1/3 c!. finely chopped black olives
2 tbsp!. lemon juice
Salt & pepper to taste
Tabasco to taste
2 lg!. ripe avocados
2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Lettuce leaves

Combine the chicken, celery and olives!. Add the lemon juice and seasonings and mix lightly!. Cut avocados in halves; remove pits and carefully scoop out pulp!. Cut pulp in cubes and gently fold into the chicken mixture!. Serve salad on lettuce leaves and sprinkle with the eggs!. NOTE: May substitute shrimp for chicken!.

1/4 c!. grated Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp!. finely chopped tomato
2 tbsp!. finely chopped green onion
1 sm!. can chopped sliced black olives

Mash avocado with mayonnaise, garlic powder and chili powder!. Spread onto plate about 1 inch thick!. Mix sour cream and salsa together and pour over top of avocado mixture!. Top with Jack cheese on one side and on the other side top with Cheddar cheese!. Sprinkle with tomatoes, onions and black olives over top!. Serve with large corn chips!.
