Can I cook meat in an autoclave?!

Question: Can I cook meat in an autoclave!?
A friend gave me an old autoclave!. I was wondering if I could use it as a pressure cooker and cook meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
If you like your meat really well done, but consider the use to which the autoclave is ordinarily put!. It would be much easier, and possibly safer, just to get a pressure cooker!. Not to mention the disapprobation with which your culinary experimentation might well be met by those who ordinarily use said autoclave!. Then, too, consider the probable mistrust of those to whom you vouchsafed your novel method; you might not get a lot of takers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!.!.!. Dude, those things can be dangerous if they're not maintained properly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
