How long should I cook a home-made chicken kiev for?!

Question: How long should I cook a home-made chicken kiev for!?
I'm new to cooking so I'm just sorta experimenting at the moment!. I have put some cheddar cheese and some dill inside with some butter and curled it around and am about to crumb them!. The breasts are rather large, I'm wondering how long I should cook them in the oven for and at what temperature!?

also, if anyone has any other ideas as to what to fill the chicken breast with to add more flavour, that would be wonderful thank you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ok I made cordon bleu and it is similar!. The process anyway!. I put the stuff inside and rolled and used toothpics to hold, then dipped in flour, egg, then bread crumbs and pan fried (in canola just a little) on all sides, then baked about 40 mins!. It was done completely!. The breast were kind of huge too, even after I banged them flat LOL!. (400 degrees uncovered)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should use boneless breasts and bound them quite flat -- fill with jalepeno montery jack cheese, roll them up tight!. Then roll them in breadcrumbs and fry them for a few minutes!. Put in the oven for about 35 minutes at 350!. If you need to be sure they are done, cut one open slightly at the thickest part and the juices should run clear - no pink!. Serve with a mushroom gravy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Traditional chicken kievsky is deep fried, not baked!. The center is butter mixed with fresh chives!. The breast is pounded out flat and half the first wing joint is left to serve as the drumstick handle!. The rest of the meat is wrapped around the butter (chilled) then rolled in crumbs or egg, then crumbs!. Deep fry until the right color!. Served with a paper decoration on the stick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just make sure that the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees!. If you don't have a meat thermometer, you need to get one!. Especially if you are new to cooking and feel like experimenting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
