Answers:
I am a former chef and eat oatmeal everyday, and I do mine in the microwave and first person not only knows nothing they cannot spell, I add boiling water from the kettle stir and place mine in the microwave for 1 minute and 15 second but watch they can boil over, I do mine in an oversize cup, with high sides in a bowl do them for 30 seconds stir, repeat and then stir at least 3 times, then add your sweetener and milk!.

There is no health issues nor do they lose nutritional value or flavour, but are done quicker, I use the Quaker Oats 3-5 minute type, but the instant is fine to done in that manner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

pan actaully comes out with little btter texture than microwave!. the actaul oats themselves deteriorate in the micrwave they kind of break up!. you will nto get even heating in a microwave either so you ust be carefull aout overcooking portions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
