Squash Substitutions?!

Question: Squash Substitutions!?
I was just curious about substitutions with squash!. If a recipe calls for pumpkin, acorn, butternut, or any other squash (except spaghetti where texture is needed), can I simply interchange them!? All squash tastes pretty similar to me, so I was just curious if anyone had tried this!. Thanks!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
sure, why not!. The only difference I find is some squash are a bit sweeter tasting or dryer in texture but I bet in a recipe for some baked product it should work fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say so, your right on the spaghetti squash!. I say go for it, it is a relatively inexpensive experiment, so!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go ahead and interchange them!. There will just be a change in taste, slightly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't do that!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
