Hi does anyone have a easy receipe for sweeties to make with a 4yr & 5yr old who would love to "cook"?!
Answers:
Homemade chocolate truffles are perfect!. They get to roll the scooped chocolate into balls, and then roll them in whatever you like!. Powdered sugar, cocoa, chopped nuts, sprinkles, whatever you can think of!. The chocolate ganache is really easy to make too!. You simply melt whatever amount of chocolate you desire with hot heavy cream, just enough to make a thick paste!. Let that cool to room temperature, then use a small scoop or spoon to measure it out!. Then let them roll away!. Its a little messy on little hands, but they'll love licking off the results of their work!. Hope you guys have fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Pumpkin pie is very easy!. In fact, any mix in a box is simple!. The children can stir the mixture until it is the right consistency and then you can pour it into a crust or cupcake wrappers for them!.
I believe the first food my mother ever taught me to cook were eggs!. You can also let them help you make a stew in a slow cooker!. You can cut up the ingredients and they can put them in the cooker for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make cookie pizza:
Take a role of pre-made sugar cookie dough and roll it out large enough to fit in a pizza pan (or small baking pan)!. Bake it at instructed temp on package until it is done to normal cookie texture-usually pretty close to regular bake time!. Then melt one bag of chocolate chips (I use semi-sweet) in the microwave for about 40 seconds!. Stir it and if it is not melted enough, melt for 10 seconds more, continue this way until fully melted!. Mix with one can of sweetened condensed milk!. Spread on the baked cookie dough!. Then top with your favorite candy toppings!. We use M&Ms and marshmallows!. Then we stick it in the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to brown the marshmallows!.
My kids love these!. My daughter has baked them for church bake sales and they sell like crazy!. Very simple but very yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
