Answers:
Aluminum leaches into food!. Aluminum was found to cause Alzheimer's disease!. Acidic foods are especially prone to aluminum leaching (I don't remember the pH of eggs)!.

However, having worked in the restaurant industry for years, most pans used in food service are aluminum!. A lot of pans used in home cooking are also aluminum!. I heard a rumor that the FDA was going to make a rule change in the food service industry and abolish all aluminum cookware from restaurant/food service kitchens!. It probably won't happen for a few years, anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hey George, I have tried it and I don't recommend it, I heard the same thing, so I am the type that would just about try anything once, and I admit it I am not perfect I screwed up big time, so if you like bits of foil in your eggs go for it!. Have a look at what Betty said just above me, I think she has nailed it perfectly!. Thumbs up Betty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

most likely while you are scrambling the eggs you would tear the foil!. that would defeat the purposeWww@FoodAQ@Com
